What We Collaborate On

Dyster Farm leases the infields of the farm and keeps some of their animals at Hauger. We have a shared goal to expand our collaboration.

Eijos has cultivated 70 hectares at Tørfest, the first forest area Sylva acquired. They have established a wine and cider production facility there.

The Research Council supports Sylva’s carbon capture and storage project, WoodStore, through the SkatteFunn scheme.

Monil leases land and uses cattle at Hauger Gård to test and develop their virtual fencing technology.

The Norwegian Society for the Conservation of Nature will assist with planning and implementing “Rewilding” in Sylva’s natural forest. Information boards about the local plants and wildlife will be installed.

NIBIO conducts gas measurements and data analysis for Sylva in WoodStore.

Sylva will collaborate with Noora on the certification and sale of carbon credits, as well as projects related to climate and natural forest concepts.

Puro will certify carbon credits from WoodStore.

Site Service Norway carries out gas measurements and reporting for Sylva in WoodStore.

Sylva establishes internship and apprenticeship positions for high school students. The Guidance Center facilitates and supports this collaboration.

Content on information boards related to cultural heritage and ancient monuments. The local history association can use meeting rooms at Hauger Farm free of charge.

The hiking association establishes and maintains trails, grooms ski tracks, and has been involved in building campsites—all within Sylva Forest. The hiking association will have free access to premises at Hauger Farm to use as their headquarters.

Sylva and Vestby High School collaborate to provide internships and apprenticeships for students in agriculture and construction.
